Apparently, Web 3.0 is shaping up to consist of young people regurgitating old Web 1.0 ideas but using Web 2.0 technologies.
The last of the real big Web Ideas was microsharing, stemming from social networking, which started to get traction in 2007, and to a lesser extent location-based everything. There hasn’t been much headway since then into the next great ideas.

I love it when someone starts following me on Twitter because I posted something cute (hey, it happens) and then they realize most of my tweets are about benzodiazepines, bleached assholes and Jonas Brothers rape.
It’s better than when someone follows you because they’re cute and have a free laptop for you (unless they actually do, which would be so much awesome).
